By creating an account or using the Service in any way, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old, that you have read and agree to these Terms, and that you have the authority to enter into this agreement.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account at info@vinylquest.io.
You may not use another person's account without their permission. You may not create an account using a false identity or on behalf of someone other than yourself.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others. You must not:
You retain ownership of content you post on the Service, including collection entries, reviews, and profile information. By posting content, you grant Vinyl Quest a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with operating the Service.
You are solely responsible for content you post. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or that we determine, in our sole discretion, is otherwise objectionable.
The Curator is an AI-powered feature designed to assist with vinyl collecting. Responses from The Curator are generated by artificial intelligence and may not always be accurate, complete, or current. You should not rely solely on Curator responses for purchasing decisions. We are not responsible for any decisions made based on Curator output.
Some features of the Service require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. All payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods except where required by law.
First Press founding members receive 60 days of Vinyl Quest+ access at no charge, after which they are billed at $4.99 per month. The First Press rate is locked for life as long as the subscription remains active. Cancellation and resubscription after the founding member period ends may result in the standard rate applying.
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Vinyl Quest and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service without our written permission.
The Vinyl Quest name, logo, and brand are trademarks of Vinyl Quest. You may not use our trademarks without our prior written consent.
The Service integrates with third-party services including Discogs (for record data), Brevo (for email), and Stripe (for payments). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of any content on the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vinyl Quest shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Escambia County, Florida.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
